At one point in the process of creating your advertising strategy and design, you may find that you know exactly what you want in your ad.

How do you make sure that your ad runs the way you'd like it to? One way is to build the entire ad yourself on your computer and provide the newspaper with a camera-ready or electronic ad.

But what if you don't have the time and inclination to build it yourself, and would just like to write it out and hand it to your ad representative?

If you're truly sure about what you want and would like to keep errors to a minimum, why not create a layout using the language and procedures most publications' ad builders use? This section will show you how and hopefully save you lots of headaches down the road.
