How do you survive the process of running an ad in a newspaper or other print publications? Here's a quick rundown of what you'll need to do, from start to finish.

First, you'll have to figure out what print advertising media are available in your market. The most popular print publications are probably the daily newspapers, weekly newspapers, and shoppers in your area, but most likely there are all sorts of specialty publications, too. You'll find many of them at the local library and convenience store.

There is a worldwide directory of daily, weekly, and alternative newspapers published by Editor and Publisher that you might also find helpful.
